Brenden Tate |
Here you will learn about Brenden... Brenden was born on June 21 (Father's Day) in Pordenone, Italy. While in Italy, he picked up the language (he was 2 when we moved back to the states). Brenden has lived in Italy, Abilene (TX), San Antonio (TX), Odessa (TX), Ennis (TX), and Houston (TX).
He enjoys playing with his friends and brothers. Brenden plays baseball and does the rodeo thing too........

Here he is posing for a photo! Here he is riding at the SandHills Rodeo in Odessa, TX. He was riding for the Kid's Rodeo (for school children on field trip). In the photo, Gary Dunda is opening the gate and making sure that all goes well for the kids riding. |

Here he is riding #110 at the Texas Youth Bull Riders event in Cleburne, TX. Though he got bucked off, he is getting better. He still has a little fear. We will be adding pictures, so please keep checking back for news on Brenden..... "Hollywood Herrera.com".......this is his "clown" name. Brenden is a 2X Sandhills Rodeo Kid's Rodeo Finalist. Last year he won the event with a very cute skit. He was suppose to act like he was shot. He then unbuttoned his shirt and showed that he had a "Superman" t-shirt underneath. As to stop the bullet. Here he is with an American theme...... Here they are....."The Little Carrillo Brothers"! There were alot of folks at the SandHills referring to Brenden and Bailey as "Gilbert and Adam". And well, it is nice to hear people refer to them as these two gentleman. Gilbert and Adam (for those of you who don't know), are twin brothers who ride in the PBR. |

Here he is in front of the Will Rogers Memorial in Fort Worth. This picture was taken after the PBR event...where he got to meet the "best of the best". He was most impressed with Cody Custer (he admired Cody from the moment he met the man). This was a true experience for Brenden and his brothers. They were taken around by Margo Trujillo and Annie Mortnesen. These two wonderful ladies introduced them to just about every single cowboy on the PBR. It is great having friends like these two ladies. |

This picture was taken at the Texas High School Rodeo Association Rodeo Arena in Saginaw, TX. Brenden has been featured in the Pro Rodeo Sports News Magazine. Here is Brenden at the Ector County Coliseum for the SandHills School Days Rodeo. Brenden did well on both days of the rodeo. He got 4 calves in the two days. Then he rode in the evening performance in the Calf Riding qualifiers.
Though he didn't cover, we are extremely proud of him. He did get banged up in one of the performances. His calf actually laid down on him and after the gate opened the calf rolled over and jumped. This caused Brenden to be thrown into the chute gate. He was okay, just a little dazed from hitting his head. And we can't forget that he was actually upset because the flank was on the calf too tight (this is what caused the calf to lay down).
